The Scriptures teach that the average saint is a temple of the Spirit of the living God (1 Cor 6:19; Rom 8:15-16). This means that for all who turn in faith to Christ, the Spirit of God comes to live within the very heart of the believer. It’s incredible really, that the average saint walks around everyday with God in them!
Yet, much of the time, even we who have received the Spirit of God live with nearly a complete disregard for Him. We have the 3rd Person of the Trinity indwelling us but we’re often ignorant of that reality. So how do we cultivate this awareness? How do we build the inner life, and deepen our enjoyment of God?
