In His final words before He ascended into heaven, Jesus gave his followers a mission – they were to go and make disciples – to proclaim the good news of the forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Him. This is commonly known as the Great Commission.
Many Christians understand this mission to involve each one of us, but when it comes to making the good news known to those who’ve never heard, many can lack zeal. We want to leave it up to the evangelists, but what we really need is the heart of an evangelist.
