Arkadiy (goes by Archie) grew up in Kazakhstan, the country of nomads in Central Asia. He attended the Eurasian University in Astana to pursue a degree in International Relations. While there, his university mate invited him to attend a local underground church. Later on, the Lord saved Archie through the faithful witness of the saints of this congregation. The next two years Archie spent in Italy, obtaining his Master of Science in Economics from Tor Vergata University. Upon graduation, he returned to Kazakhstan to serve in the local church and bring the Gospel to the students via educational counseling. During this time, Archie met his wife, Assel. They moved to Edmonton in the summer of 2019 as Archie entered a Ph.D. program in Finance at the University of Alberta. Archie and Assel have four (for now) lovely kids: one girl and three boys.
