The Berean Cooperative (TBC) is a formalized group made up of Christian homeschool families who meet regularly to engage in learning together, informed by a biblical worldview. Each weekly lesson day is broken up into periods (where each period is a different subject). Families can enroll their children in any subject of their choosing, either in whole or in part.
Our Cooperative Education Purpose
TBC’s purpose in gathering on lesson day is three-fold, fostering a community of growth, learning, and encouragement.
Education and Enrichment
- Train children in a biblical worldview through academically rich pursuits.
- Pursue common academic goals and build character development.
- Provide enrichment through extra-curricular classes and field trips where possible.
Group Dynamics
- Benefit from a community of believers, growing hard and soft skills.
- Older children develop planning, time management, and diligence through quizzes and deadlines.
- Navigate group dynamics and conflict management in a safe, like-minded environment.
- Opportunities for children to practice presenting in front of a crowd.
