LifeGroups
Our Mission
To be a diverse community of disciple-making disciples who bring glory to God by enjoying and expressing the light, life, and love of Jesus from the street to the sanctuary.
This is not only the mission statement of our church—it is the heartbeat of our LifeGroup ministry.
When Pastor Jason moved to Edmonton twelve years ago, God gave him a vision for our Fellowship family: to become a simple, Gospel-centered community of disciple-making disciples who know Jesus Christ and make Him known in the everyday rhythms of life. Out of that vision, our LifeGroup ministry was born.
What began with a few families gathering in a home has grown into a thriving network of communities across our city. Through hospitality, Bible study, encouragement, prayer, and shared mission, Pastor Jason and Simone modelled what it looks like to live as a family of missionary servants in everyday life.
As those first groups matured, new LifeGroups were born, and that pattern has continued ever since.
Today, our LifeGroup ministry includes:
- 16 active LifeGroups
- 40+ LifeGroup leaders and co-leaders
- 200+ people gathering weekly outside of Sunday services for life, discipleship, and mission together
What Are LifeGroups?
LifeGroups are not simply another church program.
They are communities of people learning to follow Jesus together in the everyday stuff of life.
Our desire is to see every LifeGroup grow into a family of missionary servants — people who live life together while seeking to fill their neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and relationships with the knowledge of the glory of God.
As Scripture says:
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
Habakkuk 2:14
In our LifeGroups, we:
- Study and apply God’s Word
- Encourage and pray for one another
- Celebrate together
- Mourn together
- Serve together
- Invite others into community
- Share the love of Jesus in everyday life
We believe people should see Jesus through His disciples (John 13:35), and we pray God continues to multiply these communities throughout Edmonton.
Pray With Us
Please pray that the Lord of the Harvest would continue to use us to make disciples who express the light, life, and love of Christ throughout every part of our city.
Our prayer is that one day there would be:
- no street,
- no store,
- and no network of people
where the knowledge of the glory of King Jesus is not known.
