Why Generate Youth?
At Fellowship Baptist Church, Generate Youth exists to come alongside parents and the broader church community in discipling young people in Grades 5-12 toward a life that reflects Christ.
Our heart is to see youth walk closely with the Lord through:
- Authentic relationships
- Faithful, biblical teaching
- God-honoring fellowship
We aim to equip students with a deep love for God’s Word — enabling them to handle Scripture with confidence and clarity, and to live out a vibrant, personal faith that honors Christ in every area of life.

How It Aligns with Our Church Mission
Generate Youth is an extension of Fellowship Baptist Church’s mission to cultivate a thriving, intergenerational community that glorifies God.
Our philosophy weaves youth into the life of the whole church — not separating them, but anchoring them in, through:
- Expository teaching
- Relational discipleship
- Church-wide events — like Week of Prayer
- Intentional intergenerational engagement
By rooting students in Scripture and community, we affirm their place in the larger church family and help them grow as faithful disciples of Jesus.
What’s Happening in Generate Youth?
We meet three Friday nights each month, and each gathering is purposely structured to balance fun, faith, and spiritual formation.
Hour One — Fellowship & Fun
Youth build community through engaging activities such as:
- Wide games
- Art & construction projects
- Sports & team challenges
This time helps break down walls and fosters joyful, Christ-centered friendships and community.
Hour Two — Worship & Discipleship
This part of the evening includes:
- Live worship
- A Bible-centered lesson
- Small group discussions
Each message is grounded in God’s Word and tailored to the real questions and challenges our youth face, seeking to deepen the youths’ understanding of Scripture.
Ways You Can Support Generate Youth
Pray
The most powerful support you can offer is prayer — for our youth, leaders, and the impact of God’s Word in their lives.
Provide Snacks
With many youth attending each week, food is always appreciated! If you’d like to donate non-perishable snacks, please contact the church office first to check on current needs and dietary guidelines.
Volunteer
Serving in Generate Youth is a calling to consistent, relationship-based ministry. Our volunteers are spiritual mentors, listeners, and leaders who walk alongside students with love, prayer, and grace.
