About Us

The Covenant Gallery team is motivated and grounded by the sure knowledge that our creativity matters to God. We are made in His image and as a result we are also creatives. As musicians raise their instruments and voices to the glory and worship of God, so we as visual artists also worship and glorify God as we point to the One who, “In the beginning, created…” Creativity originates with God. As artists, we get to unlock and, by His grace, fashion our creations into something noble, towering and true.

Participation

We invite members and adherents of Fellowship Baptist Church to join us in our endeavor to worship our Lord through the visual arts. Several times per year, we will be opening the Covenant Gallery in the Fellowship Chapel featuring original artwork from the congregation on a variety of themes in a variety of mediums. Participants can range in age from 6 years and up and submit work under any number of themes. We look forward to encouraging you in your journey to explore the visual arts with an attitude towards excellence and a worldview under the authority of Scripture. All to the glory of God!

Q&A

No work of art is more important than the Christian’s own life, and every Christian is to be an artist in this sense. He may have no gift of writing, no gift of composing or singing, etc. but each man has the gift of creativity in terms of the way he lives his life. In this sense, the Christian’s life is to be an artwork. The Christian’s life is to be a thing of truth and also a thing of beauty in the midst of a lost and despairing world.
