RESURRECTION HOPE IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC

I was reminded this week that people are not afraid of an invisible virus – they are afraid of dying. We live in an age where death is only welcome when it’s chosen, while others live as though death wasn’t a present and daily shadow over their lives.

For many in our society death is considered an intrusion – a possibility rather than a certainty. So when it raises its head we seemed shocked by it as though it was some far off danger, an unexpected intruder, but it has always been near, and our current crisis has reminded us of that reality, causing many to fear. So what should be the answer to this fear? Resurrection life!
